DESCRIPTION
El casco PASCUT se ha fabricado siguiendo los requisitos de prestaciones y rendimiento del Ejército de los Estados Unidos en cuanto a la balística, el impacto, la retención y otros factores de protección de la cabeza.
Más ligero que el anterior casco de infantería, el nuevo PASCUT cuenta con un diseño mucho más ergonómico. El ajuste de la carcasa del casco también elimina el pico y tiene una moldura lateral situada en una posición más alta, lo que mejora el campo de visión.
El casco PASCUT también incluye una mejora del sistema de suspensión y de sujeción de 4 puntos, de modo que éstos se anclan a la estructura del casco sin tornillería que atraviese la misma.
Incluye dos posibles ajustes del arnés de sujeción, tanto en la parte delantera como en la trasera, lo que permite el ajuste perfecto y asegura la estabilidad adecuada.
Pruebas, ensayos, homologaciones
- El casco PRO35 tiene la certificación NIJ así como ensayo anti-fragmentos V50 y otros varios ensayos balísticos.
Diseño de la estructura
- El casco PRO35 PASCUT ha sido diseñado para ofrecer la mejor relación protección/peso, sin que este pueda resultar incómodo con el chaleco de protección balística y a la vez permita el uso de armas largas e intercomunicación de forma confortable.
Composición:
- El casco se fabrica mediante un sistema “composite” propio de prensado de tejido aramida y polietileno de ultra alta densidad molecular (UHMW-PE), que le otorga un excelente peso, protección balística y de impactos y retardante al fuego.
Rendimiento balístico
El casco PRO35 PASCUT ha sido diseñado para cumplir con la normativa NIJ 0106.01, ensayándose con proyectiles como sigue:
- .44 Magnum SJHP con masa 15,6g y velocidad de 436 m/s
- .357 Magnum JSP con masa 8.1g y velocidad 448 m/s
- .357 Magnum JSP con masa 10,2g y velocidad 436 m/s
- 9mm FMJ RN con masa 8,0g y velocidad 398 m/s
- .40 S&W FMJ con masa 11,7g y velocidad 352 m/S
Rendimiento balístico de máximos.
El casco CSC11 ha sido sometido también a la siguiente prueba que consiste en 4 disparos del 9mm. como se detalla y por supuesto sin penetración.:

CSC11

Structure design;
